Grade

Grade starts with D, and changes into C, B, and A according to the score.

The numbers turns unknown (white square) after some changes, which becomes earlier as grade ups.

ID (Intelligence Deviation)

When the game is over, the player's ID is displayed on the screen. ID indicates the level of your intelligence, particularly the capacity of your working memory, among a population, which could possibly be the entire humans in the 21st century on the planet.

ID is determined according to the game's pattern level, line level, and score.


What is a deviation?

A deviation is an indicator of a person's ranking in the population. It is often used in Japan to represent students' school performances. ID (Intelligence Deviation) resembles IQ (Intelligence Quotient), which may be better known globally. The comparison between ID and IQ is as follows.

Background color

You can change background colors with function keys when you are not in the gaming session. Each color of red, green, and blue varies between 4 degrees in brightness.

To reset your ranking data

Ranking data are saved at "su-bake.zdt" file in "data" folder. If you delete the "su-bake.zdt" file, then the data will return to the initial state. The "su-bake.zdt" file will be auto-generated if it does not exist.
